At Primal NRG Fitness, our Junior Athletes Program is designed for children aged 9–14 years, using fun, age-appropriate training to develop the physical skills that transfer across almost every sport.
Whether your child plays team or individual sports, or simply enjoys being active - our program helps them become stronger, faster and more coordinated.

What happens in each session?
Every 45-minute supervised session includes a variety of activities designed to keep kids engaged while progressively improving athletic ability.
Sessions may include:
Strength Training
Children learn safe, age-appropriate resistance training techniques using body weight and equipment suited to their stage of development.
Speed & Agility Drills
Sprint drills, acceleration work, change-of-direction exercises and reaction activities help improve athletic performance
Coordination & Balance
Fun drills challenge hand-eye coordination, footwork and body control.
Athletic Challenges
Games and friendly competitions help build teamwork, resilience and confidence while making every session enjoyable.
Junior Athletes Program is suitable for:
Boys and girls aged 9–14 years;
Beginners with no previous gym experience;
Young athletes wanting to improve sports performance;
Build confidence and fitness;
Sessions can be individually adapted to suit each child's age, experience and ability.

Safe & supervised
Every session is led by an experienced coach who ensures correct technique and a supportive learning environment.

With a cap of 8 participants in each class, the young athletes receive individual attention while enjoying the motivation and fun of training with others.

Rather than specialising too early, we focus on developing athletic qualities that benefit children across multiple sports.
Program Information
Age: 9–14 years.
Session Length: 45 minutes.
Frequency: Every Wednesday at 4pm (except during school holidays or any public holidays)
Experience Required: None.
Fitness Level: Suitable for all abilities.
Conditions: Athletes must be accompanied by an adult during the entire training session.
