What are Primal’s challenges?
We run various challenges throughout the year. Our challenges are customised to help you stay focused and improve your lifestyle habits so you feel better. Challenges are suitable for people wanting to push themselves a little further each week. It is a great way to add focus and intensity to your training routine.
Current challenge: “Zero Weight Gain” winter edition 2025
The aim of this 8 week challenge is to not gain (or reduce) body fat during winter.
When?
Start of challenge: Monday 30 June
End of challenge: Sunday 24 August
Check-ins
Check ins are conducted at Primal using our Biometrics scales
First check in: week of Monday 23 June
Mid challenge check in optional: week 4
Final check in: week of Monday 25 August
What’s include:
- Customisable daily actionable habits in an App to help keep you on track during the 8 weeks;
-Group fitness classes access;
- Resources on nutrition ; easy to do recipes, tips on eating out etc.
- Weekly check in and accountability with our coach

Top 3 winners will be selected based on their fat loss results at the end of the challenge.
The Zero Weight Gain challenge is suitable for persons:
- wanting more accountability over the winter period;
- willing to take practice daily habits to improve their lifestyle;
- who are committed to improving their health and fitness through regular training, sensible eating and adopting healthy lifestyle habits;
-committed to not gaining weight and feeling healthier during winter.
FEES
This fee covers the cost of the Challenge App, administration and prizes.
Current members: A one-off participation fee of $89. This fee can be paid in full or absorbed into your fortnightly membership fees.
Non members: A weekly fee of $79 for 8 consecutive weeks.
